About Me
Tawan Sooknoi is a Professor of Chemistry and Head of the Catalytic Chemistry Research Unit at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand. His research interests encompass heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst design, and reaction mechanisms for the sustainable conversion of biomass into fuels and value-added chemicals. He has authored more than 120 peer-reviewed publications with over 4,000 citations and currently leads a nationally funded Senior Research Scholar program in catalytic biorefinery. His research combines fundamental catalytic science with industrial collaboration to develop practical technologies for sustainable energy and green chemical production.
