The cationic...

Ga species (GaO+, Ga+ and GaH2 generated by reductive treatment can be stabilized by the negative framework charge within zeolite micropores [7-8]. Moreover, the formation of different Ga species in the presence of H2 can readily influence their catalytic activity and selectivity. In this contribution we have investigated the catalytic activity of tunable Ga species in Ga/HZSM-5 by H2 treatment towards the ethane dehydrogenation and benzaldehyde hydrogenation and hydrogenolysis.
